An Introduction to Kanzul Ullama Dr Ashraf Asif Jalali
Loading, please wait...
He was born on April 12, 1968, in the renowned town of Bhikhi Sharif, district Mandi Bahauddin.
The esteemed Dr. Sahib's name and lineage is as follows: Muhammad Ashraf Asif, son of Sufi Ghulam Sarwar, son of Chaudhry Muhammad Roshan, Hafiz al-Hadith, from Hazrat Pir Syed Muhammad Jalaluddin Shah Naqshbandi Qadri (may Allah sanctify his secret). When his noble father, Sufi Ghulam Sarwar Gondal Sahib, sought a name for the newborn, Hazrat Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah sanctify his secret) named him Muhammad Ashraf Asif. On the seventh day after his birth, at the occasion of his Aqiqah, Shaykh al-Kull Maulana Muhammad Nawaz Qailani (may Allah sanctify his secret) graced the occasion and recited the Sunnah supplications of Aqiqah, and slaughtered the Aqiqah animal with his own hands.
His noble father's name is Hazrat Sufi Muhammad Sarwar Gondal Sahib, who belongs to the renowned Gondal tribe. The esteemed Dr. Sahib, on both paternal and maternal sides, belongs to the respected and virtuous Aqlani tribe of Bhikhi Sharif. The esteemed Dr. Sahib's grandfather, Chaudhry Muhammad Roshan, and maternal grandfather, Chaudhry Sardar Ahmad, were heads of renowned landowning families of the area.
He opened his eyes in a truly great scholarly household. His parents lived an extremely simple life but were embodiments of zuhd (asceticism) and taqwa (piety). Along with strict observance of fasting and prayer, they were exemplary models of excellent character. The scholarly table was always set; whenever students would come to study with his noble father, he would welcome them warmly and begin teaching without hesitation, teaching with full dedication — to the extent that he even taught all the sons of the esteemed Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him). There was a special reason for this: his noble father was also a disciple (mureed) at the hands of the esteemed Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him), and he frequently had the honor of his companionship. The effects of the esteemed Hafiz al-Hadith's training were evident upon his personality, which would also manifest upon the children in the home — especially he held a special and distinct affection for the esteemed Kanz al-Ulama, and due to their nobility, abundant worship, zuhd and taqwa, and adab (etiquette) and respect, he gave them greater attention.
The esteemed Kanz al-Ulama studied Nazrah of the Holy Qur'an with Hazrat Maulana Hakim Abdul Bari Bengali (may Allah have mercy on him), buried in Bhikhi Sharif.
He began primary education in 1972 at the age of four. From first grade through fourth grade, he studied with Master Karam Ali (may Allah have mercy on him) in Ainuwal, a small village south of Bhikhi Sharif.
He completed primary through middle school classes in Bhikhi Sharif, studying most subjects (Persian literature, etc.) with his noble father, Hazrat Sufi Ghulam Sarwar (may Allah protect him). In 1981, he went to Government High School Chak No. 40, located some distance from Bhikhi Sharif, for Matriculation, and in 1983 secured first position in his school in the annual Matric examination.
After securing first position in Matric, other teachers at the school advised his noble father to enroll him in F.Sc. and make him a doctor. However, his noble father, after brief reflection, went to the esteemed Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him) and submitted that his son had passed the Matric examination and requested guidance on what should be done next, also mentioning that he had a desire to memorize the Qur'an. He instructed that he should be made to memorize the Qur'an. Hazrat Hafiz al-Hadith granted permission and also offered a supplication for blessings. Thereafter, he began Hifz at the great seminary Jamia Muhammadia Nooriyah Razawiyyah Bhikhi Sharif, in the Hifz department, with the respected teacher Qari Nazar Hussain Jalali Sahib (may his honor increase). He completed memorization of the Holy Qur'an in a brief period of seven months, and that same year he also led Tarawih prayers with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an. Until 2020, he had continuously led Tarawih with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an for 38 years. It is also a matter of honor and felicity that he recited at the eleventh minbar — the minbar of the eleventh saint, Hazrat Syedna Ghawth al-A'zam, al-Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (may Allah have mercy on him) — within the luminous precincts of his shrine.
He began Dars-e-Nizami in 1984 at the great religious seminary 'Jamia Muhammadia Nooriyah Razawiyyah' established by Hazrat Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him) in his own town of Bhikhi Sharif. Due to day-and-night strenuous effort, he completed the three-year syllabus of Dars-e-Nizami in the very first year. He studied initial Persian books with the successor of Hafiz al-Hadith, Hazrat Allama Pir Syed Muhammad Muzaffar Qayyum Shah Mashhadi (may Allah have mercy on him); some initial Sarf books with Maulana Zahoor Ahmad Jalali Sahib; then some intermediate and advanced books with Shaykh al-Hadith Hazrat Maulana Hafiz Nazir Ahmad Sahib (may Allah protect him) and Hazrat Allama Maulana Karim Bakhsh Sahib (may Allah protect him). He attained complete mastery in great sciences such as Tafsir, Hadith, Usul al-Hadith, Usul al-Fiqh, Ma'ani, Badi', Bayan, Logic and Philosophy, and Ilm al-Hay'ah (Astronomy) with Hazrat Allama Maulana Ata Muhammad Bandialvi (may Allah have mercy on him) in three years, completing Jam' al-Ma'qul wal-Manqul in 1988. He also completed Dawrah Hadith at the central Jamia Muhammadia Nooriyah Razawiyyah Bhikhi Sharif and secured first position throughout the country, including Azad Kashmir, under Tanzeem al-Madaris Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan. He also sat for FA, BA, and MA examinations before completing Dawrah Hadith and achieved distinguished success. Ultimately, the scholarly journey that began in 1984 concluded in 1993 with full brilliance, and thus he completed the eleven-year Dars-e-Nizami course in nine years, receiving his graduation certificate (Sanad Faraghat) from the central Jamia Muhammadia Nooriyah Razawiyyah Bhikhi Sharif in 1993.
Among his teachers of Hifz is Hazrat Qari Muhammad Nazar Hussain Jalali Sahib (may his honor increase), from whom he completed the entire Holy Qur'an.
The noble teachers from whom the esteemed Kanz al-Ulama (may his blessings endure) acquired the honor of discipleship — their revered names are listed below: 1 … Hazrat Pir Syed Muhammad Muzaffar Qayyum Shah Mashhadi (may Allah have mercy on him) 2 … Malik al-Ulama Hazrat Allama Ata Muhammad Bandialvi (may Allah have mercy on him) 3 … Shaykh al-Hadith Hazrat Allama Hafiz Muhammad Mufti Karim Bakhsh Jalali Sahib (may Allah protect him) 4 … Shaykh al-Hadith Mufti Muhammad Nazir Ahmad Jalali Sahib (may Allah protect him) 5 … Mufti A'zam of Iraq Hazrat Allama Mufti Abdul Karim Muhammad al-Mudarris al-Baghdadi (may Allah have mercy on him) 6 … Shaykh al-Kull Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nawaz Qailani (may Allah sanctify his secret) 7 … Badr al-Fuqaha Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Asghar Ali Razavi (may Allah have mercy on him) 8 … Shaykh al-Hadith Hazrat Allama Zahoor Ahmad Jalali Sahib (may Allah protect him)
For further higher education, upon the command of the Imam of Ahl-e-Sunnat, Hazrat Allama Imam al-Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqi Meerathi (may Allah have mercy on him), he traveled to Baghdad Sharif in 1993. There he benefited from scholars and men of excellence from various universities, undertook research and investigation at numerous libraries and manuscript centers, and in addition to visiting many spiritual shrines for ziyarat and recitation of Fatiha, he kept the study of books as his occupation. In Baghdad Sharif, he also engaged in exchange of ideas on important subjects with numerous muftis, great shaykhs, thinkers, and scholars. He completed a diploma in Modern Arabic from Mustansiriyah University Baghdad Sharif in a brief period of nine months, and maintaining his former excellence, he had the honor of securing first position among students from numerous countries. Thereafter, he returned to his homeland Pakistan.

During his studies in Baghdad Sharif, he received numerous honors. He recited at the eleventh minbar in the precincts of the shrine of Hazrat Ghawth Pak (may Allah be pleased with him).
He was also honored with the task of cleaning at the sacred court of Hazrat Ghawth Pak (may Allah have mercy on him). Due to heartfelt love for Hazrat Ghawth Pak (may Allah have mercy on him), when everyone would leave, by the special grace of Hazrat Ghawth Pak (may Allah have mercy on him), his nights would pass within the precincts of the sacred court.
He was honored to teach some lessons of Dars-e-Nizami within the precincts of the sacred court as well.
He studied from the Mufti A'zam of the sacred court, Hazrat Allama Abdul Karim Muhammad al-Mudarris al-Baghdadi (may Allah have mercy on him), with such passion, diligence, and adab that despite hundreds of students being present, the Mufti A'zam bestowed upon him stipends and spiritual permissions along with the Sanad Ijazah of teaching — which Mufti Sahib had granted to very few students.
At the conclusion of the diploma, he made great efforts to go for Umrah from there but could not go, and presented an arzi (petition) in the form of verses at the court of Ghawth al-A'zam, which was accepted. Those verses were:
Kabhi to qismat ka chand tara afaq pe apne nisar hoga)
(Kabhi to Taybah ki sarzameen ka meer palak pe ghubar hoga
Thereafter, Allah Almighty granted him the felicity of Hajj twelve times and dozens of Umrahs, and dozens of times the honor of presence at the sacred court of the Crown of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, Sayyid al-Ins wal-Jaan, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ — may Allah accept, Ameen.
Regarding the honor of Bay'ah, he himself states that he was greatly influenced by the Junaid of his time, Hazrat Pir Syed Muhammad Jalaluddin Shah Naqshbandi Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him), and he always had an eagerness to meet him. He would tell his noble father, Hazrat Sufi Ghulam Sarwar Jalali (may his honor increase), to take him to the esteemed Pir Sahib so that he could take Bay'ah at his truthful hand — for life has no certainty and death can come at any time; therefore, his heart always yearned for the moment when he would take Bay'ah at the hand of the Junaid of the age (may Allah have mercy on him). Allah Almighty showed mercy, and ultimately in 1981, when he was a ninth-grade student in school, one day Hazrat Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him) was invited to their home in the Aqlana neighborhood. The very purpose of this invitation was to obtain the honor of Bay'ah from Hazrat Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him). Accordingly, upon the request of Dr. Sahib's respected father, Hazrat Sufi Ghulam Sarwar Gondal, Hazrat Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him) honored the esteemed Dr. Sahib and his elder brother, Al-Haj Muhammad Ahsan Sahib, with the honor of Bay'ah.
He formally began Khitabat in 1994. After returning from Baghdad Sharif, he delivered his first Friday sermon at Markaz Ahl-e-Haq, the central Jamia Masjid Razae Mujtaba, Peoples Colony Gujranwala, and to this day he continues to bestow his blessings in the form of Friday sermons at that very place.
He began teaching in 1995 from the residence of Hakim Muhammad, son of Farzand Ali (may Allah protect him), in Bhagat Pura Shad Bagh, Lahore. He taught Maulana Mufti Muhammad Abid Jalali (may Allah sanctify his secret), Maulana Muhammad Akram Jalali, Maulana Muhammad Fayyaz Chand, and Hakim Ghulam Murtaza Mujahid the one-year Persian, Sarf, and Nahw books of Dars-e-Nizami at that very place, and also taught intermediate books of Dars-e-Nizami to Sahibzada Muhammad Umar Wansapuri. In addition, for the welfare and guidance of the general public, he continued to deliver lessons of Hada'iq al-Bakhshish.
In 1996, upon the command of Hazrat Thani Sarkar, Hazrat Pir Syed Muhammad Muzaffar Qayyum Shah Mashhadi (may Allah have mercy on him), he formally began teaching at Jamia Jalaliyah Razawiyyah Muzaffar al-Islam Darogha Wala, Lahore. At the inaugural ceremony, the leader of Ahl-e-Sunnat, Hazrat Allama Imam al-Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqi (may Allah have mercy on him), and Hazrat Pir Syed Muhammad Muzaffar Qayyum Shah Mashhadi (may Allah have mercy on him) were present, along with dozens of scholars and shaykhs. Upon the command of Hazrat Pir Muhammad Muzaffar Qayyum Shah Mashhadi (may Allah have mercy on him), he himself took charge of the complete administration of the seminary in the capacity of Principal, welcoming the guests of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, arranging both outward and inward langar (hospitality), and quenching their scholarly thirst — and to this day he continues to quench scholarly thirst. Among the initial students were the lion of Ahl-e-Sunnat, Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Abid Jalali Sahib; Allama Muhammad Akram Jalali Sahib; Allama Abid Hussain Ghazali Sahib; Maulana Muhammad Fayyaz, known as Chand; Allama Muhammad Arshad Ahmad Sahib; Allama Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmad Sahib of Balochistan; Allama Muhammad Niaz Ahmad Saeedi of Multan; along with numerous other scholars.
Haji Muhammad Ashfaq Jalali Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him), who worked in jewelry in Baghbanpura Lahore, was blessed with the honor of Bay'ah at the sacred hand of Hazrat Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him). He expressed the desire to build a seminary, upon which Hafiz al-Hadith (may Allah have mercy on him) granted permission to build it, and he also laid its foundation stone and offered supplications for blessings here. The axis and center of rays of fragrance and light, Jamia Jalaliyah Razawiyyah Muzaffar al-Islam, has been spreading the light of knowledge across the length and breadth of the country since the day of its establishment. This garden of knowledge and wisdom, where the blessings of the predecessors manifest in the form of the teaching and elucidation of Hazrat Kanz al-Ulama Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Asif Jalali Sahib, continues to do so even now, and Insha'Allah this chain will continue until the Day of Judgment.
Before departing for Iraq in 1993, when he met the leader of Ahl-e-Sunnat, Maulana al-Shah Ahmad Noorani (may Allah have mercy on him) in Karachi, upon taking leave he instructed Dr. Sahib to pursue a PhD alongside acquiring knowledge in Iraq. Accordingly, he began research in the great libraries of Baghdad Sharif. Upon returning to Pakistan, he commenced research work and registered for a PhD in the Arabic department at Punjab University. Under the supervision of Hazrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Zahoor Ahmad Azhar Sahib (may his honor increase), he chose as his research topic an Arabic research thesis on the great Hanafi fiqh of Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah (may Allah have mercy on him)'s spiritual guide, Hazrat Shah Inayat Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him), based on the manuscript Ghayat al-Hawashi. He collected numerous manuscripts from across the country, traveled to dozens of libraries, and presented his research in a modern style, receiving his PhD degree from the University of Punjab in 2001. That research thesis has been published in three volumes and adorns libraries. It can still be requested from Markaz Sirat Mustaqeem Taj Bagh, Lahore.
On May 11, 2007, he launched a unique religious movement with new zeal and fervor.
In this connection, he laid the foundation of 'Idarah Sirat Mustaqeem Pakistan.'
The founding program was held at Bhatti Miraj Hall, Gujranwala, in which thousands of lovers of Mustafa ﷺ participated.
Especially among scholars and shaykhs — the lion of Ahl-e-Sunnat, Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Abid Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Akram Jalali; Hazrat Maulana
Dozens of scholars and shaykhs announced their affiliation with this magnificent religious movement 'Idarah Sirat Mustaqeem Pakistan' and paid tribute to the esteemed Kanz al-Ulama.
The formal beginning of this institution was from the city of Gujranwala, and its present center is located in Lahore.
This is purposeful and righteous work.
Due to his sincerity and devotion solely for Allah, within a few years its fruits began to appear prominently.
Uth ke zulmat hui paida afaq khawar par
Bazm mein shola nawae se charaghan kar dein
The original purpose of Idarah Sirat Mustaqeem Pakistan is the propagation of Islamic teachings in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Through this platform, all efforts and endeavors have been united and organized so that the entire caravan can be guided from a single center.
Drop by drop it accumulates, and the ocean holds its place.
Fard qa'im rabt-e millat se hai tanha kuch nahin
Mauj hai darya mein aur bairun darya kuch nahin
For the reformation of the Ummah, he presented the manifesto of Idarah Sirat Mustaqeem Pakistan in 12 points, which are as follows:
1… The doctrinal and practical teachings related to Tawhid (Oneness of Allah) and Risalah (Prophethood) should be highlighted.
2… Understanding the objectives of the Qur'an and Sunnah, their propagation should be carried forward, and at a global level, along with faith and worship, the Islamic concept of state should also be clarified.
3… The importance of Huquq Allah (Rights of Allah) and Huquq al-Ibad (Rights of Creation) should be propagated and awareness of their observance should be awakened.
4… The beloved ones of the Divine Court (the Prophets — peace be upon our Prophet and upon them; the great angels; the Ahl al-Bayt al-Atahar, may Allah be pleased with them; the noble Companions, may Allah be pleased with them; and the saints, may Allah have mercy on them) should be made the center of one's love, considering them as means to Allah's love according to their ranks, and their honor should be safeguarded.
5… For the promotion of transactional Islam and to fulfill the needs of all spheres of life with the blessings of religion, mental preparation should be made for the implementation of the Nizam-e-Mustafa ﷺ.
6… Society should be purified from diseases such as nudity, obscenity, consumption of haram, shamelessness, deceit, fraud, lies, betrayal, and oppression and tyranny.
7… A dam should be built against the filthy flood of so-called liberalism.
8… Training centers should be established for purification of character, construction of Sirah (conduct), spiritual solace, and cleansing of the inner self.
9… The shrines of the saints, which are centers of divine lights and manifestations, should be protected from un-Islamic activities of ignorant people.
10… Close watch should be kept on the conspiracies of Jews, Christians, and destructive movements (organizations that harm Islam), and timely action should be taken to protect the Muslim Ummah from them.
11… While highlighting the Islamic philosophy of social service, activities opposed to religion under the guise of social service by certain NGOs should be pursued.
12… Scholars, muftis, and preachers should be prepared for service to religion with sincerity and devotion solely for Allah.
Fulfilling his religious and spiritual responsibilities through the platform of Idarah Sirat Mustaqeem Pakistan, the esteemed Kanz al-Ulama confronted the pharaohs and tyrants of the time,
played his role in molding the deteriorating social environment according to the pattern of the Sunnah,
bravely confronted domestic and foreign fitnas (trials), and for crushing the head of every fitna he raised the banner of Fikr-e-Mujaddid and Fikr-e-A'la Hazrat,
and for the honor of Risalah (Prophethood), the greatness of the Companions and Ahl al-Bayt, and the dignity of the saints, he adopted a Siddiqi and Faruqi character, placing his life in the palm of his hand.
In this connection, he accomplished numerous achievements; their summary is listed below:
1… Fahm-e-Din Courses
2… Aqeedah Tawhid Seminars
3… Tahaffuz Namoos-e-Risalat Seminars
4… Azmat-e-Sahaba Conferences
5… Muhabbat Ahl al-Bayt Seminars
6… Afkar-e-Raza Seminars
7… Khatm Bukhari Sharif Programs
8… Rallies, Sit-ins, Marches, etc.
9… Shan-e-Auliya Seminars
10… Live Programs on TV

12… Political Movement and Activities
Under the hadith "An Abi Sa'id al-Khudri an Rasul Allah ﷺ qala: sayati kum aqwam yatlubun al-'ilm fa idha ra'aytumuhum fa qulu lahum marhaban marhaban bi wasiyyat Rasul Allah ﷺ wa aqnihim" — in accordance with the counsel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — the esteemed Kanz al-Ulama welcomes every arriving student with "Marhaba" and treats them with the utmost affection. Every student, receiving fatherly affection and love, virtually forgets his home and becomes attached to this place. One who spends even a few moments in his company remembers his affection for a long time. Along with providing spiritual training to every student, he emphasizes both belief and practice. At Jamia Jalaliyah Razawiyyah Muzaffar al-Islam Darogha Wala Lahore, located in the shadow of factory smoke, he began Dars-e-Nizami classes upon the command of Hazrat Pir Syed Muhammad Muzaffar Qayyum Shah Mashhadi (may Allah have mercy on him), without any partnership. Initially, he had to face many difficulties, but in accordance with the divine command "Wa man yattaqi Allah yaj'al lahu makhraja" (And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out) — placing trust in Allah Almighty and beginning the work of teaching religion — Allah Almighty created a path of deliverance from every difficulty that arose. Gradually, the fame of his scholarly eminence and jurisprudential expertise spread across the four corners of the world, and a continuous stream of students began arriving, which continues to this day. This humble servant became part of this magnificent caravan in August 1998 and completed the entire Dars-e-Nizami studying under him. In 2008, he was honored with the Dastar-e-Fazilat (turban of excellence). Further good fortune came in 2009, on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal at 11 AM, when I took Bay'ah at his blessed hand and had the honor of being his first mureed (disciple) — for which I feel pride even today. For this I offer thanks to my Lord countless times.
Until 2021, the number of graduates exceeds 600, and 118 muftis, after completing the Mufti course and receiving the Sanad of Ifta, are fulfilling the duty of guiding the Ummah in the world. Dozens of his students have obtained PhD and MPhil degrees, and hundreds of scholars, seated on the chair of teaching, are fulfilling the right of being heirs to the religion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. May Allah accept everyone's services.
Mention of some of his promising and proud teachers and students is listed below: Maulana Mufti Muhammad Abid Jalali Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him); Maulana Mufti Muhammad Akram Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Abid Hussain Ghazali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Fayz al-Rasul Noorani; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Abdul Karim Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Tahir Nawaz Qadri; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Zahid Mahmud Na'mani; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Javed Iqbal Ajmiri Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Fayyaz Qadri Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Siddiq Mus'hafi Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Azharullah Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Adil Ali Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Mubashir Rasul Siddiqi; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Raza al-Mustafa Razi Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Huzayfah Raza Jalali; Maulana Muhammad Talha Ahsan Jalali; Maulana Mufti Muhammad Abdul Razzaq Jalali; and others.
He was bestowed with Sanad of Khilafah and teaching from numerous shrines and spiritual centers.
Mention of especially proud centers is listed below:
1…… From the Mufti A'zam of Iraq in Baghdad Sharif, Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Karim Muhammad al-Mudarris al-Baghdadi (may Allah have mercy on him) — Ijazah and Sanad of teaching sciences, which connects through Hazrat Maulana Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to the Messenger of Allah, the embodiment of light ﷺ, was granted to him.
In addition, Hazrat Shaykh also granted Ijazah of various litanies and waza'if; Khilafah was also granted from several other Sufi chains in Iraq.
2…… From Bareilly Sharif, Hazrat Taj al-Shari'ah Mufti Muhammad Akhtar Raza Khan Qadri Razavi (may Allah have mercy on him), he was honored with Khilafah.
3…… The successor of Hazrat Taj al-Shari'ah, Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Manan Raza, known as Hazrat Manani Miyan (may his blessings endure), also granted Sanad of Khilafah.
4…… The supreme successor, Hazrat Miyan Shir Rabani, Hazrat Miyan Jamil Ahmad Sharqpuri (may Allah have mercy on him), also showed kindness and granted Khilafah.
5…… From Shaykh al-Hadith Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Fayz Ahmad Owaisi Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him), Sanad of Khilafah, Ijazah, and litanies and waza'if were also granted.
When wrong concepts regarding the Tawhid of Allah Almighty were being presented — attributes befitting servants were being declared as attributes of Allah Almighty, and the application of Allah Almighty's attributes upon servants was being called shirk (polytheism) — representing Ahl-e-Sunnat, he launched the Aqeedah Tawhid Seminar in 2009 in the Sam'a Hall under the shadow of the feet of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Ali Hajveri (may Allah have mercy on him), in which he explained true Tawhid, clarified the difference between the attributes of Allah Almighty and the attributes of servants, and made clear that the attributes of Allah Almighty are His personal attributes, while the attributes found in servants are bestowed (ata'i) — meaning granted by Allah Almighty; therefore, no suspicion of shirk arises in any respect. Also because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that my Ummah has no danger of shirk from me. To date, through 12 Aqeedah Tawhid Seminars, he has provided means for safeguarding the belief of the Muslim Ummah.
He has represented Pakistan on numerous occasions at international conferences in Islamabad.
For the preaching of religion, as ambassadors of Islam, he remains fully devoted to the reformation of people throughout the world. In this connection, he is specially invited and his services are appreciated at annual conferences held in Baghdad Sharif, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Sharjah, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Mauritius. He also presents the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah on numerous subjects before the public on ARY, QTV, News 92, News Dawn, and Koh-e-Noor TV channels.
For the honor of Risalah (Prophethood), he also adopted a Siddiqi and Faruqi character and played an extraordinary role. Whether the issue of the honor of Risalah arose within the country or abroad, he fulfilled the right of love for the person of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the accursed Asia blasphemed against the noble person of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Governor Salman Taseer openly supported her, as a result of which Ghazi Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri, on January 4, 2011, sent him to Hell with 27 bullets and fulfilled the right of protecting the honor of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — the first to organize the Tahaffuz Namoos-e-Risalat Seminar at Aiwan-e-Iqbal on January 9, 2011, to pay tribute to the Ghazi's character was none other than the personality of Kanz al-Ulama, and throughout the country he praised the Ghazi's character and declared him a hero of the Muslim Ummah. Whenever caricatures of the person of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were made in the West, he raised the voice of truth through seminars, million marches, rallies, sit-ins, and sermons, and also guarded the honor and dignity of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ through writings, speeches, columns, and media talks, and warned the Ummah about the hypocritical character of the West. Recently, when caricatures of the person of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were made at the governmental level in France, on November 19, 2020, on the very first day alongside Kot Lakhpat Jail, he announced handing over the President of France to living Muslims and declared jihad against France.
Whenever an assault was made on Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, the esteemed Kanz al-Ulama also played his role in this matter. During the Musharraf era, when an attempt was made to change Section 295-C of the law, he held numerous seminars on the subject and warned the government that if any step were taken to do so, that day would be the government's last day — and the lovers of the Messenger ﷺ remain ever ready to offer the sacrifice of their lives for Khatm-e-Nabuwwat.
During his student days, he continued to play a mujahid (striving) role — wherever any traitor attempted to attack the sacred character of the sacred personalities, he would immediately organize seminars, expose their hidden malice and hypocrisy, and elucidate the sacred character and dignity of the Companions and Ahl al-Bayt. Recently, when Syedna Siddiq al-Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) was openly called a tyrant and abused in the media, the first to perform his religious and faith-based duty and elucidate his dignity through the Adalat Syedna Siddiq al-Akbar Seminar, and elucidate the dignity of Ahl al-Bayt by explaining the conditions of love for Ahl al-Bayt through the Shan Mawla Ali Seminar — this free and striving man is called Kanz al-Ulama.
He began the political movement before the 2018 elections. The name of the political movement, Tehreek Labbaik Islam, was approved by the Election Commission, and then the symbol of a cannon was granted by the Election Commission. On this very symbol, he contested elections for two National Assembly seats — NA-124 Lahore and NA-81 Gujranwala. Despite casting votes in heavy majority due to his passionate campaign, he was deliberately defeated in the elections. Apart from Punjab, candidates of Tehreek Labbaik Islam participated from all three provinces. However, the higher governmental institutions do not approve of capable individuals and those who speak of religion entering the Assembly.
